Sci-Fest, now in its tenth 12 months, will play host to greater than 1,600 faculty pupils from greater than 20 colleges across the area on Friday, July 8 at Wolverhampton College’s Metropolis Campus.
A household day can even be held on Saturday, July 9 between 10am and 4pm, providing a spread of free workshops, experiments, video games and drop-in actions, all designed to carry STEM topics to life.
Guests will uncover how engineers design super-fast automobiles, construct constructions that survive earthquakes and cook dinner meals utilizing solely mirrors, whereas Foxdog Studio’s Robotic Chef will show the worst technique to cook dinner a meal.
Dr Martin Khechara, fellow for Public Engagement on the College, stated: “The Sci-Fest competition is our approach of reaching out to colleges, schools and the local people to interact folks in STEM actions and get them serious about science, expertise, engineering and maths.
